Srilankan Airlines Flying High


Srilankan Airlines is the national airline of Srilanka.At the beginning it called as Air Ceylon. Then 1979 name was changed again as a Air Lanka.In 1998 present name (Srilankan) was came as a result of the 10 year privatized agreement with the Dubai based Emirates group. Now that agreement was finished and Srilankan airline fully control by the Sri Lankan government.Now it operate to destinations in Asia and Europe, from its base and hub at Bandaranayake international airport. Currently  it serves 61 destinations in 35 countries.Also now they introduced a air-taxi service for local and foreign tourist for travel around this beautiful country and at the moment Srilankan airlines has 23 luxury air crafts for  giving a luxury service for their passengers.
